BAND
Stone Candies were formed in 2022 in Milan, from the union of three musicians with extensive live and studio experience, coming from different bands and musical styles, who met purely by chance during an audition. Their explosive performing skills led Dario Inversi (guitar), Ettore Sabatini (bass), and Fabio "Thor" Ammendolea (drums) to create a Hard Rock band with stylistic influences ranging from Progressive Rock to Funk.
The sound they offer is a powerful and impactful blend that incorporates the musical backgrounds of the band members while always maintaining a modern tone with occasional nods to sounds of the past, opening up to typical sounds from the '80s and '90s.
The band will spend all of 2025 working on their debut album of original tracks, aiming to merge catchy melodies with introspective lyrics, addressing themes of disconnection, self-search, alienation, and false positivity in an increasingly chaotic and dehumanizing world.
The current setlist includes well-known songs from the past 30 years as well as more niche tracks.
